Advent is a season of waiting: of quiet mornings, of waning light, of the horrible beauty of the "not yet." Perhaps this is a year to advent softly. Not with more, but with less. Not with production, but with Sabbath.

 

May these Advent tools be an exhale. May the words and songs, the images and scriptures, be an invitation to pause and receive.
